Al Wakrah Stadium is one of the stadiums that will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.It is not only the first stadium built from scratch but the installation of the pitch was completed in a world record time of just 9 hours 15 minutes. The design of the Al Wakrah Stadium, which is located in the heart of Al Wakrah, about 15 km south of Doha, is inspired by the well-known dhow boats of Qatar and the Gulf States. It reflects the historical and cultural heritage of the region and the most important city in Qatar, as it is one of the oldest strategic commercial ports, and its location as one of the main gates of Doha city by land and sea. It is also famous for pearl trade and fishing.

Al Bayt Stadium design honours Qatar's past and present, while keeping one eye on the future of the community. Al Thumama Stadium is steeped in the culture, history and symbolism of Qatar and the region. This 40,000-seat stadium will host FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ matches through to the quarter-finals. Al Thumama Stadium's design represents the gahfiya – a traditional woven cap worn by men and boys across the Middle East. It is also a symbol of dignity and independence – a perfect analogy for Qatar and the surrounding region.

The Doha Metro is a rapid transit system in Doha, Qatar's capital city that became operational on 8 May 2019. It have three lines with an approximate overall length of 76 km and 37 stations. It is an integral component of the larger Qatar Rail network, which will include a long-distance rail for passengers and freight, linking Qatar to the GCC, and the Lusail LRT. Capable of reaching 100km/h, the Doha Metro will be one of the fastest driverless trains in the world.

Hyundai Rotem has won 319 million USD contract to build a sewage treatment plant in Qatar. As per the contract, the Korean firm will set up a treatment facility in the city of Al Kohr which can treat up to 56,000 tons of wastewater per day by 2018. The project was awarded by Ashghal, the Public Works Authority of Qatar. Under the terms of the deal, Hyundai Rotem will be responsible for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) maintenance and repair.

Water Security Mega Reservoirs Project is to provide the 7 days of potable water storage in the new mega reservoirs and the existing and future secondary reservoirs preserving the water quality as per Kahramaa and World Health Organization (WHO) standards.The first phase of the project will provide the 7 days of storage for the expected water demand at horizon 2026, with 5 mega reservoir sites. The second phase will provide the 7 days of water storage for expected demand in 2036 by adding additional reservoirs within the 5 mega reservoirs sites.

The Women’s Wellness and Research Center (WWRC) is a specialist hub for women's health services. The new hospital is part of Hamad bin Khalifa Medical City - a purpose built campus providing a range of specialized healthcare services in the heart of Doha. As the largest women’s tertiary hospital in the country, the facility is equipped with a large emergency department with an expanded visitor waiting area, seven operating theatres, 26 delivery rooms, 240 private inpatient rooms with bathrooms and a number of specialized outpatient clinics for obstetrics and gynecology. In addition, the WWRC has 112 NICU cots for the care of critically ill newborns.

Hamad International Airport, is the sole international airport in the state of Qatar. Located south of its capital, Doha, it replaced the former Doha International Airport as Qatar's principal airport. Hamad International Airport was designed to cater for a projected ongoing increase in the volume of traffic. It can handle 50 million passengers per year, although some estimates suggest the airport could handle up to 93 million per year, making it the second largest airport in the region after Dubai. It can handle 320,000 aircraft movements and 2 million tonnes of cargo annually. The check-in and retail areas are 12 times larger than those at the current airport. The airport is two-thirds the size of Doha city. The airport has an oasis theme. Many of the buildings have a water motif, with wave-styled roofs and desert plants growing in recycled water. The airport is built over 22 square kilometres (8.5 sq mi), half of which is on reclaimed land.

The New Port Project (NPP) Steering Committee and AlJaber Engineering (JEC) signed a contract for designing and constructing food security facilities and warehouses at Hamad Port at a cost of QAR 1.6billion. The facilities of the project will be developed and constructed on an area of approximately 53 hectares (about 530,000 square meters). The project consists of specialized facilities for the processing, manufacturing and refining of rice, raw sugar and edible oils. These products will be available for local, regional and global use.
